Service is a major part of the mission of Infinite Love. Currently, we are dedicated to serving cancer patients, their families, and the homeless. We hope to start programs with Rio Grande Valley high school students soon. We believe that while serving others, we also receive. Through selfless service, we realize our deep interconnection to each other, our hearts soften and open, and we become better human beings. We hope you will join us on this journey.

Service for Cancer Patients and their Families
Infinite Love provides one meal a day, Monday through Friday, for cancer patients at a local hospital. Often, patients struggle with expenses after having to take time off from their jobs as well as worrying about covering the cost of treatment. Furthermore, we help patients with other personal expenses including rent, electricity bills, etc. Hopefully this helps to alleviate some of their burden.
We are also working on setting up a meditation room in this hospital to help family members and staff to recenter and find peace during the day.
Our dream in the future is to have a place of lodging and rest for patients and families who come to McAllen for cancer treatment. Knowing that they do not have to worry about lodging expenses or finding a place to stay should help alleviate some of their discomfort and allow them to focus on getting better.
Service for the Homeless
Infinite Love volunteers bring fresh food and warm company to the homeless at a local park every Tuesday and Friday evening. The organization supplements this outreach by working toward providing housing for individuals in dire need of shelter while they work on getting their lives back in order. The volunteers are currently working with local organizations to learn how to move further on this cause.
We are currently looking for volunteers with counseling experience to provide their services to the homeless community. If you or anyone you know is interested in this opportunity, please contact us.
Working with High School Students
A few volunteers have expressed interest in starting organizations at their high schools for students who want to practice acts of kindness for others at their school or in the community. If you would be interested in helping with this initiative or know someone who might, please let us know!
