is a woman, wife, mama, sister, sister friend, — she wears a million hats just like you!
One of her biggest whys is that she wants people to feel good about ALL of who they are. Including you.
Even though she was a writer before becoming a mama, entering motherhood rocket launched her into her purpose – championing women and reminding them of their innate worth. She loves women well and inspires them to rise to their fullness.
Her book, The Courage to Become: Stories of Hope for Navigating Love, Marriage and Motherhood is her gift to women and has been applauded by the likes of Diane von Furtstenburg and Dr. Shefali Tsabary.
Catia’s work has been featured in the Austin American Statesman as thoughtful, at Book People as New & Noteworthy, and she was awarded Austin’s Best Parent Blogger award in 2017. Catia has been regarded by her audience as “courageous, genius, awe inspiring, funny and encouraging.”
The threads running through all her work (she’s an author – The Courage to Become, a motivational speaker – TEDx, Choose Joy or Die, and a private coach) are hope, joy and empowerment.
A year ago she and her family decided to leap and move from Texas to Central America. They left the US with 6 suitcases and 2 car seats and landed in Panama. They are choosing joy in the slow and taking time to become.
