To help build a more peaceful world, Infinite Love is hosting a weekend workshop on the principles of Nonviolent Communication.
Please join us! Together we will learn how to connect more deeply with others and with ourselves.
What is Nonviolent Communication?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a way of thinking and speaking that helps us connect more deeply with ourselves and with others to achieve peace. Developed in the 1960’s by psychologist and mediator Marshall Rosenberg, NVC is based on the idea that all human beings have the capacity for compassion and only harm others when they do not recognize the most effective strategy for meeting their needs. NVC is currently taught in over 100 countries around the world.
Weekend Workshop Details
The NVC Discovery Weekend introduces the basics of NVC and takes us to a deeper understanding of the role of NVC in our daily lives. Through exercises, demonstrations, and role-plays, participants will have first-hand experience with communicating consciously based on an awareness of our own and other people’s needs.

In New York, this workshop costs $290/person. But, Infinite Love has sponsored a portion of the fee to offer a rate of $175/person to the Infinite Love family. All proceeds support NVC work. (If you’d like to attend but the tuition is preventing you from doing so, please let us know by replying to this email and we’ll discuss options.)
A light vegan lunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday.
What People Are Saying
“NVC has been a great gift to me. It has changed my life radically, I’m still amazed. Relationships that were stuck in old patterns have become fluid, caring and loving. Perhaps, at sixty-six, to find a new love with my husband, a warmth and closeness with my children, it all seems like a miracle.”
“NVC has helped me to pick out the real truth before I communicate. I’ve used it to discover what’s really going on and how to say difficult things well…I’ve found the practice to be a great mechanism to bring clarity, understanding and much needed compassion to the thoughts and feelings of myself and others.”
“NVC gets me clear on what it is that I want, and why. What it is that I believe, and why. With such clarity I now act with more assurance, and have more definition, purpose, and love in my life.”
Before attending, we recommend you read the beginning of Marshall Rosenberg’s book, “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life.” Here are Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. You can also purchase the book to read more (highly recommended!).
